The American Women’s Club of Madrid is a social and charitable non-profit organization for English-speaking women. Our Club offers diverse activities covering a spectrum of interests, including social, cultural, historical, charitable, and well-being. The clubhouse functions as a home away from home for all members living in Madrid temporarily or permanently.

The AWC is a Proud Member of FAWCO
Our club is proud to be part of FAWCO, an international network of volunteer clubs and associations in 28 countries. FAWCO’s mission is to create strong support systems for our American and international members, enhance the lives of women and girls around the world, advocate for the rights of US citizens abroad, and harness our members’ skills for important global initiatives in education, the environment, health, and human rights. Since 1997, FAWCO has held special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council, helping us make an even greater impact together!
